Nakao, Kanjiro - 8'6 2/2 5wt Hollow-built Bamboo RodFor sale here we have a beautiful rod from Japanese maker Kanjiro Nakao an 8'6" 2 2 5wt hollow built bamboo rod. Serial no. 1703. The rod is in near mint condition having only been lawn cast. All sections are full length and straight. The rod features a satin finish. Transparent amber wraps with burgundy tipping and transparent intermediate wraps throughout. Blued guides. Numbered tips for convenience. The slender E. C. Powell style grip measures 6"
The keeper is 1 flat right as is the lettering "7 1/2' 3 3/8oz #4
It has a nice fast progressive action
The cap is quite handsome with knurled edges and a brass Tom Morgan Rodsmiths medallion set in the top
