Hardy Featherweight Fly Reel w/ CaseFor sale here is a Hardy Featherweight fly reel in barely used near mint condition. Made in England. 2 7 8" diameter. Smooth alloy foot. Two screw latch plate with single screw reversible nickel silver line guard. RHW or LHW. Hardy stated capacity of DT4 + 40m WF5 + 55m. Comes with its original blue and cream Hardy zippered case.
This rod has my early version ferrule plugs and rod tube
Comes with the original Payne rod bag and rod tube (and canvas tube cover with separate compartment for the handle extension)
5" blunt cigar grip
This reel carries the '02 patent date on the oil cap
The grip is 6 1/2" long
Winston sticker on tube
The wraps are a dark silver with maroon tipping as well as white tipping at the winding check
Have a reel that's missing one
